City of Beverly Hills and Human Relations Commission Celebrate Kindness Week Feb. 14-19

Beverly Hills, CA (February 8, 2021) – The City of Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission will recognize National Kindness Week, February 14 - 19, 2021 with inspirational acts of kindness activities throughout the week.  The activities scheduled can be found at

Kindness Week in Beverly Hills has always been about planned, in-person, social activities, but due to the pandemic, the Human Relations Commission has pivoted to celebrate Kindness Week online and through social media, while encouraging community engagement with a robust calendar of interactive activities.

Human Relations Commission Chair, Ori Blumenfeld said, “As we know, kindness is being friendly, generous, considerate, and so many other actions that describe acts of love, which is so fitting that Kindness Week begins on Valentine’s Day, February 14.  Kindness Week is meant to inspire all to practice and spread genuine and random acts of kindness in their own lives, this week and every single day.”

The signature event for Kindness Week is an Author Talk and Question & Answer Session with Leon Logothetis, best-selling author, motivational speaker and television host of the much revered Netflix series, “The Kindness Diaries.”  For over a decade, Logothetis has traveled the globe to over 100 countries to highlight the good in humanity as seen in “The Kindness Diaries.”  The Author Talk is February 16, at 6 p.m.  You can register at
